The sportfishing boats had a boy out for his birthday with his father yesterday. This was his birthday trip and his dad wanted him to catch a nice fish. Well, the fishing was slow but they caught a couple nice fish to make his day a special one. They caught a couple nice kingfish on the reef and then switched over to live bait and ended up catching a nice little spinner shark on light tackle. It ended up being a good trip. This is a photo of the shark they caught just before they released it.
This is a very nice letter the father wrote us about the trip, so I thought I would put it in my report. Thanks for the letter, Andrew. It was very nice of your to write. This is the letter:
I just wanted to thank Capt. Eric and John for our great trip yesterday. They both worked very hard to pay special attention to my son who was celebrating his birthday. We caught plenty of fish but I know that it was the kindness, hard work and enthusiam of these two gentlemen that made it a day he will never forget. Thanks, Andrew Hayward
